Calling ALL Amigurumi enthusiasts!!
RESOBOX Gallery, a Japanese cultural center, is planning to hold a “World Amigurumi Exhibition” starting December 12, 2014. The goal is to completely fill their gallery space with at least 3,000 amigurumis, turning the gallery into an “amigurumi room”, filled to the brim with cuddly and cute handmade plushies! This is a perfect event for all of us to unite together and showcase what we love! I’m definitely in! Who’s with me? :)

I found these amigurumi doll hair tip pics on a Chinese forum :) I can’t remember the site unfortunately
Here’s my haul from the Knitting and stitching show here in London today :D
This time yesterday I hoped to never see another ball of yarn and crochet hook again. Yet here I am looking through patterns
Yesterday was my first ever craft fair :D I was really worried I didn’t make enough stuff because i sorta ended up making things late but I did fill the table :) the day before I made a bunch of perler bead magnets as a cheap table filler. They were pretty popular :D I also found this really cool diy glow in the dark yarn tutorial at https://hodgepodgecrochet.wordpress.com/2014/09/20/diy-glow-in-the-dark-yarn/ so I made a batch of that and followed a morning cup of jo’s baby ghost pattern (found on ravelry)

Done. *dies and is dead*
I keep saying I won’t do another blanket because I’m just too busy. But I probably will, because to me a handmade blanket is a message to a baby that before they were even born, there were people outside of their parents who loved and cared and worked for them. I try and make my blankets big so they get years of use, rather than outliving their usefulness after the first year or so.
But I would still be very grateful if everyone I know could refrain from having babies for a while.
